Hi friends! 💜 It's me, Heavenly Joy! Guess what?! I made something SUPER cool for my website and I have to tell you about it!
It's called Draw & Guess, and here's how it works — the computer gives you a secret word, like "cupcake" or "unicorn" or "butterfly." Then you get 60 seconds to draw it on the screen. When you're done, the computer looks at your drawing and TRIES TO GUESS what it is!
I know that sounds like magic. Kind of because it IS magic.
Yep! It uses something called AI (that means "artificial intelligence" but that's a fancy grown-up way of saying "a computer that can see stuff"). It looks at your picture and figures out what it is!
🎨 Why I Made It
I really like drawing games. There's this one game where you draw and other people try to guess, but you need friends online to play it. I wanted to make one where you can play by yourself whenever you want — even if all your friends are at soccer practice or something.
Also I thought it would be really funny to see what the computer thinks I drew. Sometimes it gets it PERFECT and sometimes it says something totally different than what I meant and I laugh so hard.
🌟 Tips to Get the AI to Guess Right
Okay so I've been testing this a lot and here's what I learned:
1. Keep it simple! Don't try to draw every little detail. Just draw the main shape. Like for a cat, just do the head, ears, and whiskers.
2. Big drawings work better than tiny ones. Use the WHOLE canvas! Don't scrunch your drawing into the corner.
3. Use black or dark colors. The computer can see them best. You can add other colors too, but make sure the main lines are dark!
4. Don't stress if it gets it wrong! Sometimes even I can't tell what I drew. That's part of the fun.
🎁 What Words Can I Draw?
There are LOTS of words in the game! Like cupcakes, donuts, cats, dogs, unicorns, dragons, princesses, robots, houses, cars, rainbows, hearts, and TONS more. There's 60 different words! So you can play a bunch of times and get different ones.
